Plunging for a Purpose is an annual, family-friendly event hosted by Waypoint Services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, aimed at raising awareness and funds to combat homelessness, poverty, and violence in the community. Scheduled for May 17, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Kingston Yard (between Big Grove and Pickle Palace), the event features activities such as outdoor yoga sessions for both adults and children, vendor booths, and culminates in an invigorating ice plunge.
