Welcome, Park Cedar Rapids! Convenient. Accessible. Smart. Just a few words to describe the new Park Cedar Rapids parking system, designed with patrons in mind! On Monday, October 10, Park Cedar Rapids officially launched their new system for downtown businesses and patrons. Launch highlights include the new brand including a new logo, organization name, website and Luke, new on street parking meters you'll find all over downtown! The transfer of system oversight from the City to the Downtown District was the first of six “Primary Action Items” outlined by the Parking Strategic Action Plan, which was unanimously approved by the Council on April 27, 2010. The plan is focused on supporting the economic development goals of downtown and will serve as the roadmap to revitalization of the system.
